Diego Patino

Diego is a digital artist using animation software and generative visuals platforms as a medium for his creative inventions.

Diego has worked with prominent artists in a wide range of motion design projects, such as Bal en blanc, Bluesfest, Canada day (Ottawa), and Montreal en Fëtes.

Diego has share his passions for music through live visuals performances at Osheaga, Ilesoniq and WayHome music festivals, New City Gas and Beachclub in Montréal, and others around the country.

Driven by the inspiring presentations at la Satosphere, Diego has recently started exploring the area of immersive generative visuals. He is currently pursuing his Creative immersion and Touchdesigner training at la Sat; with the goal of finding interesting collaborations in the field of multimedia installations, dome projections and stage visuals creation.

I am an interactive motion designer and VJ based in Montréal. After gaining technical animation skills at Fanshawe college, in London, Ontario, I moved to Montréal, where I became instantly fascinated with its captivating music and art culture. This discovery brought out in me an energetic desire to search for a medium of expression as the primary focus of my career. I have found this artistic expression in the creation of generative visuals and live performance. Ever since then I’ve dedicated myself to continually improving these technical skills and further developing my artistry, with the goal of finding new opportunities to share my passion for the digital arts.

This aspiration leads me to search for ways to connect with other visual artists whose aesthetic sense and work has been a profound source of inspiration to me. I’m confident that I will be able to provide value to them if an opportunity for collaboration presents itself in the future.
