Artistic Profile

Sarah received a dance grant for creating her own solo show "Amalgame" in 2007 by Emploi-Québec, Projet Jeunes Volontaires, an hour performance on the human rights presented at the Lion D'Or (Montreal). The show has been cited as Brilliant by the critique Francine Grimaldi at Radio-Canada and featured in La Presse newspaper by the journalist Aline Apostolka.

For 7 years, she directed Karisma (a dance percussive group) and choregraphed and danced for the "International Montreal Jazz Festival", "Francofolies de Montréal", "Montréal Complètement Cirque" Festival and "Made in Vancouver" Festival during the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games.

Sarah graduated from Pierre-Laporte and trained over 20 years in in schools such as Alvin Ailey (NYC),  National Ballet School(Toronto), École supérieure de danse du Québec, École supérieure de théâtre musical (Montreal), Denise Wall's Dance Energy (Virginia Beach) and the Underground Circus (Vancouver, BC). 

Artistic Studies

Born in Montreal, Canada, Sarah Louis-Jean is a jazz dancer, a boleadoras dancer and a choreographer. She performed across Canada, the US and Europe.

Sarah has performed in numerous professional productions such as with Celine DionCirque du Soleil, " Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Paralympics (Vancouver), "Best of Broadway" (Atlantic City, US), "Moonshine Follies" (Atlantic City, US), "Cabaret Victor Follies" at the Just for Laugh Festival (Montreal), "Femmes" with Nanette Workman (Montreal), with Les Sortilèges Dance Company during 3 years, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Gala Browns Shoes, Véronic Dicaire, Éric Lapointe to name a few. She also danced in diverse tv shows like in "Match des Étoiles", "Zéro à 1000$", "À la recherche de la nouvelle Star" (France), "So you think you can dance" as a Montreal and Vancouver finalist and on the movie "L'Appât" (Cirrus Communication) for which she had a 3rd role in 2011.

She also got accepted to dance with the "Moulin Rouge" in Paris.
