Board of Directors 2010-2011 of Diversité artistique Montréal

Diversité Artistique Montréal (DAM) is proud to present its Board of Directors for 2010-2011.
At DAM’s Annual General Meeting, held on January 25th 2010, in the Atrium of the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, eight (8) members submitted their candidacy for the eight (8) vacant seats on the Board of Directors of the organization.

The following is the list of these members who were elected by acclamation for a two-year term:

·    Gwenola Appéré, Administrator, CBC Literary Awards;
·    Krish Dasgupta, Development Agent, McGill University;
·    Zab Maboungou, Artistic Director and Vice President of the Board of Directors, Compagnie de danse Nyata Nyata;
·    Roberto Lopez, Composer / Artist / Producer and President, Curura Musique;
·    Patricia Perez, Artiste mediator, TOHU;
·    Sénaya Sène, Author / Composer / Performer;
·    Jason Rosenblatt, Director, Producer, Composer, Harmonica and piano for Shtreim;
·    Roger Sinha, Artistic Director and President of the Board of Directors,
Sinha Dance;

Diversité artistique Montréal welcomes these new members to the Board and thanks the outgoing members: Mohsen El-Gharbi, Afef Benessaieh, Émilie Monnet, Marilda Carvalho, Sophie Bensaïd and Eva Quintas for their valuable contribution to the organization over the past years.

The mission of Diversité artistique Montréal since December 7, 2006, is to promote artistic and cultural diversity in Montreal’s arts and culture scene. In this vein, DAM provides professional artists and cultural workers from Montreal’s artistic and cultural diversity with a range of services such as coaching, training, networking activities and advocacy to government agencies and other potential partners and supporters.
