Congratulations to graduates of the 2009 Artistic Career Management training session!

The board of directors and staff of Diversité artistique Montréal (DAM) congratulates all 20 artists who followed, and successfully completed, the Artistic Career Management training 2009 session.

The program, valued at 1200$, was offered free of charge by Diversité artistique Montréal to its members. This training session, of a duration of 7 weeks, was made possible thanks to the contributions of the Canada Council for the Arts (Inter-Arts Office). It was an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge with a team of experts in artistic career management, led by: Claude Gillet (an artist and a veteran trainer with more than 25 years of experience) and Martin Choquette (trainer and speaker for the Union des Artistes, and the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi network). Participants benefited from the presence of several other specialized trainers: webmasters, lawyers, artist agents, presenters, journalists and others, who answered questions concerning their needs and individual objectives.

We wish to thank our funders, as well as the team of trainers who all contributed to the success of this training session. Don't forget to regularly read the Bulletin DiversInfo and check our website (www.diversiteartistique.org) for the announcement of the next edition!
